Instrument / Avionics Bench Technician / Chief Inspector
Come work, live and play in beautiful sunny Arizona. A progressive and expanding Instrument/Avionics Repair Station seeks an Instrument/Avionics Technician – Chief Inspector to join our team.
Requirements: Three to five years’ experience in Aircraft Instrument/Avionics repair and troubleshooting to component level. Experience as an Inspector in a repair station environment or ability required. Avionics experience in a FBO will also be considered.
Description: Responsible for the day to day operation of an Instrument shop including interaction with the FAA. Electronics experience a must. Overseeing and mentoring technicians ensuring quality of repairs and overhauls are at the highest level. Perform repair and overhaul of instruments per component maintenance manuals and Engineering drawings.
Qualifications:3 to 5 years minimum experience
Ability to meet the requirements for a FAA Repairman Certificate immediately
Supervisory experience a plus
Technical School or Military Training or proven experience
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and back-round check
