AE701 AQP Wire-Enforced Hose
Aeroquip AE701 AQP hose, made from a specially formulated elastomer compound, provides unusual advantages in performance and long life, in lab and field testing, the hose outperformed existing rubber hose styles in terms of long life, fluid compatibility, temperature compatibility and flexibility.
Aeroquip AE701 AQP hose retains its flexibility over a long period of time and has an unlimited shelf life. The tube has long-term resistance to degradation caused by various fluids used in aerospace applications. Size and complexity of hose inventory can be reduced because of hose compatibility with nearly all fluids.
How its made: Inner Tube: seamless, specially formulated synthetic compound. Reinforcement: stainless steel wire braid consisting of partial inner braid and full coverage outer braid.
Specifications: Fluid compatibility: versatile inner tube is compatible with nearly all petroleum-based oils, aviation gas and JP fuels, Unaffected by alcohols, coolants, and solvents commonly used in aerospace systems.
Operating Temperatures: Fluid -65`F, to +300`F. Ambient -65`F, to +250`F.
Testing: AE701 assemblies were subjected to an extensive qualifications test. A copy of the test report is available upon request. AE701 Assemblies are approved under TSO-C53a Type A(unsleeved) and Type C(fire sleeved).
NOTE: Consult aeroquip for approval before using AE701 hose in hydraulic impulse pressure applications.

AE401 Silicone covered AQP Hose for fire protection
Provides long life and high performance for fuel, lube, oil and coolant applications.
AE401 AQP hose lets you maintain the light weight, low profile and same minimum bend radius as AE701 AQP hose, while meeting the fire test requirements of TSO-C53a Type C.
The integral silicone fire protection cover is applied directly into the hoses’ metal braid and end fittings to form a smooth, tight bond. This hose/fire protection cover combination lasts many times longer than unsleeved hose and provides high performance in demanding power plant air frame applications.
How its Made Inner Tube: Seamless, specially formulated synthetic AQP compound.
Reinforcement: Stainless steel wire braid consisting of partial inner braid and full coverage outer braid with an integral silicone cover.
Specifications, Fluid Compatibility: versatile inner tube is compatible with nearly all petroleum-based oils, aviation gas, JP fuels, and synthetic-based fluids including MIL-L-23699 lubricating fluids. Unaffected alcohols, coolants and solvents commonly used in aerospace systems.
Operating Temperatures: -65`F to +300`F
Testing: AE401 hose assemblies were subjected to extensive qualification tests. A copy of the test report is available upon request.
NOTE: Consult Aeroquip for approval before using AE401 hose in hydraulic impulse pressure applications.
Aeroquip 666/667 Medium Pressure Teflon Hose
Aeroquip 666 and 667 medium pressure Teflon hose is widely used in Aircraft applications handling fuel, oils and other fluids. The economy of the reusable fitting concept for military applications has been well established. Special fittings which represent up to 80% of the cost of a hose assembly are completely reusable. Engineering mock ups can be made quickly on the spot from a small stock of bulk hose fittings. Hose lines obsoleted by engineering changes can be readily salvaged and reworked unto usable assemblies. This means inventory requirements can be greatly reduced. There are no ordering delays or waiting for factory assembled hose lines.

AE246 High Pressure Teflon Hose
Construction: Aeroquip AE246 Hose consists of a thin wall Teflon inner tube an Hi-Pac outer braid consisting of densely packed small diameter stainless steel wires braided in a uniform pattern.
Operating Temperatures:-67° to +400°F., Fluid and ambient
Applications: High Pressure and high temperature service. Teflon Hose is unaffected by fuels, lube oils, coolants or solvents commonly used in aircraft applications. Superior vibration resistance, low volumetric expansion and high temperature resistance makes it deal for hydraulic systems.
